Mack Gullett, 81, resident of Southside, died in a local hospital
at 10:15 pm, Sunday, November 10, after an extended illness.

The son of the late William and Lylie Austin Gullett, he was born
in Magoffin County August 15, 1882, and had lived in this city most
of his life.

He had been employed as a miner and was a member of the Third
Street Freewill Baptist Church.

His wife, Mrs. Arizona Conley Gullett, whom he married July 4,
1904, in Magoffin County, survives. Other survivors include six
sons, Virgil Gullett, Dayton, Ohio; Zollie and James H. Gullett
both of this city; Mitchell and Warren H. Gullett both of Salem,
Ohio; Henry Gullett, Lexington; three daughters, Mrs. Nora Colvin,
Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Nettie McFarland, Salem, Ohio; Mrs. Mollie
Combs, Middletown, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 am, today at the Jones and
Preston Funeral Home with Scott Castle and Herbert Arms as
officiating ministers.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Southside.
