SUSAN ELIZABETH GRIM Death Claims Aged County Woman Mrs. Susan Elizabeth (George) Grim died at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Shady Grim, at Nippa, Thursday, February 8. Mrs. Grim was 88 years old having been born in 1852. In 1873 she was united in marriage to Wallace Grim and to this union were born twelve children, seven of whom have preceded her in death.  the five children surviving are Bascom Grim, Nippa; Mark Grim, Portsmouth, Ohio; Mrs. Ross Castle, Ashland; Mrs. Asa Blair and Mrs. Ed Pelphrey, of Van Lear. She had been a member of the church since 1976. In addition to her children and grandchildren she is survived by a large number of other relatives. Funeral and burial took place at Nippa in charge of the Preston Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald Thursday 2-15-1940
