An illness of four years ended in death on August 30 from Walter
Fuller, 78, who had lived in Dayton, Ohio, for the past three
decades.

The retired C & O railroad man was buried in the Parson Cemetery, at
Whitehouse, on September 1, J.H. Short held services in the Chapel of
the Preston Funeral Home which was in charge of the burial afterward.

He was born in Swain County, North Carolina, to the latte James and
Elizabeth Hammrick Fuller. Rossie Neeley Fuller, who he married in
Whitehouse in 1915, survives him.

Other survivors include six sons from Dayton, Ohio, Arnold, Raleigh,
James, Ronald, Eldon and Robert Fuller; a daughter, MRs. Evelyn
Carroll of Whitehouse; two brothers, Wade fuller from Dayton, Ohio,
and Hayes Fuller of South Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Howard
from Lehigh Acres, Florida, and Mrs. Hattie Black of Ring Gold,
Georgia; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
