POLLY FAIRCHILD

Mrs.Polly Fairchild,90, known to her many friends as "Aunt Polly"
died Sunday evening Apr.4 1959 at the home of her daughter
Mrs. Irvin Music of Hager Hill, following a long illness.

The daughter of the late William & Rebecca Green Ratliff she was
born in Johnson County Ky on Nov.25 1868, and had been a
resident of Hager Hill for the past 50 years.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Van Lear.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Fairchild.

Surviving are two sons, Dick & Son Fairchild both of Hager Hill,
another daughter Mrs. Minnie Cantrell of Hager Hill; two brothers
Sam Ratliff, of Chestnut; Alfred Ratliff, of Hager Hill;
one sister Mrs Alice Ratliff, of Sturges, Michigan.

Funeral services were conducted from the West Van Lear Church
of Christ, with S.C.Honeycutt and Cecil Sherman
officiating ministers.

Burial was in the Family Cemetery at Hager Hill
