LIZZIE ALICE FAIRCHILD

Lizzie Alice Fairchild, 81, of Paintsville, died Wednesday
Oct.17 2001 in Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville.
Mrs. Fairchild was born March 5, 1920, in Johnson County, a
daughter of the late Paris and Myrtle Wheeler Murray.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Abner
Fairchild.
Surviving are a daughter, Loretta Fairchild Music of
Paintsville; a brother, Curtis Thompson of Springfield,
Ohio; two sisters, Irene Dickerson of River and Marjorie
Roland of Bluefield, W.Va.; five grandchildren; eight great-
grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Preston Funeral
Home in Paintsville by J.K. Caudill. Burial will be in
Daniel-Castle Cemetery in Nippa.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
