ELZIE FAIRCHILD

Elzie Fairchild, 74, of Denver, died Monday, August 28, 1974
at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Johnson County in February, 1900, he was a son of the
late Enoch and Samantha Johnson Fairchild.
He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving brothers and sisters include Frank Fairchild
of Denver, Kenneth Fairchild of Milford, Ohio, Dora Goble of
Denver and Mint Hannah of Staffordsville.
Services were held Wednesday, August 28, at Rock House
Freewill Baptist Church, Staffordsville, with Rev. Don Fraley
and Rev. Melvin Blanton officiating.
Burial was in the Ratliff Cemetery at Denver.
The Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
