GEORGE H. ESTEP
George Estep Dies Sunday
George H. Estep, 83, resident of this city, died suddenly at his home in Bridgeford Addition Sunday afternoon after suffering a heart attack.
Born October 9, 1871 in Johnson County, he was the son of Ira and Imora Morton Estep. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and a retired railroad worker.
Surviving are his wife Nancy Elizabeth Davis Estep, two daughters, Mrs. Ben Cottle and Mrs. Thurman McKenzie, both of this city, one sister, Mrs. Tallie Van Hoose, Ashland, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m. today at the Southside Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. H. E. Willis and Scott Castle officiating.
Burial will be in the family cemetery at Southside under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
