GEORGE EALEY
1883-1965
  
George Ealey, 81, died at 2:25 p.m.June 24, in a local hospital
following an extended illness.
  
Born August 13, 1883, he was a son of William and Artie Francis
Ealeyand had been a resident of Barnetts Creek most of his life.
  
He was affiliated with the United Baptist Church and was a retired
farmer.
  
He was preceded in death by his wife, Suda Trimble Ealey, who died in
July 1964.
  
Survivors include four sons, Marshall Ealey, Barnetts Creek; Arnold
and Arville Ealey, Newport News, Va.; Chat Ealey, Hampton, Va.; Three
daughters, Mrs. Ruth Williams, Oil Springs, Mrs. Ruie Reed,
Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Bett Robinson, Paintsville.
  
Other survivors are 24 grandchildren , 26 great grandchildren and one
brother, Frank Ealey, Miamisburg, Ohio.
  
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., June 27, in the Barnetts
Creek United Baptist Church with Revs. Lonza Reed and Millard O'Bryan
officiating.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
