ELIZA DUTY
1907-1976
Eliza Baldridge Duty, 69, died Thursday June 17, in the Paintsville
Hospital . She was the daughter of Liss and Ellen Booth Baldridge.
Mrs. Duty was born March 19 1907 at Whitehouse where she was a life
time resident.
She was a member of the Boons Camp Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband Kenis Duty; four sons Ralph Pigg of
Suttons Bay, Mich., Alfred Pigg of Lawton, Okla., James Duty of
Whitehouse and Christopher Duty of Ft Hood, Tex.; six daughters,
Rowena LaBadie, Birdie Montgomery and Anna Bell Nokes, all of
Nicholasville, Runa Faye Doolin of Lexington Barbara Beck of Yokima,
Wash, and Peggy Sue Weekley of Ft. Hood; a sister, Mrs. Lyda Bell
Bowling of West Van Lear and 24 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 20 in the Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. C.C. Hall officiating.
Burial was in the Duty and Layne family cemetery at Whitehouse with
Paintsville Funeral Home handling arrangements.
