Funeral services were held Saturday, June 23, for
Ruth R. Daniels, 74, who died Thursday, June 21, 2001 at
Highlands Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Daniels was born January 7, 1927, in Johnson County, to
the late Millard and Emma Ratliff VanHoose.

She was also preceded in death by her husbands Frank Ratliff
and Orville Daniels.

Surviving are one daughter Emma LeMaster of Flat Gap; one
brother Mitchell VanHoose of Urbana, Ohio; six sisters
Virgie Picklesimer of Woodstock, Ohio; Edna and
Irene Castle both of Urbana, Ohio; Margie Ward and
Imogene Tackett both of Thealka; and Katherine Wilcox
of Louisa.

Also surviving are one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at the Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel.

Officiating the service was Dick VanHoose.

Burial followed at the Topsy Ratliff Cemetery at Denver.
