Jay Daniel, 51, Dies In Ohio
Funeral Services At Offutt Monday
Jay Daniel, 51, retired miner, died at 5:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8
in a hospital in Cleveland, Ohio after an illness of several weeks.
He was born in Johnson County on Oct. 20, 1906, a son of Major and
Cabrilla Meade Daniel. He was a resident of Cleveland at the time
of his death.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Daniel, three sons, Bruce Daniel,
Randall Daniel and Wendell Daniel, all of Cleveland; one daughter,
Mrs. Patsy Penix, Cleveland, O., and the following brothers and
sisters, Guy Daniel, Rock Hill, N.C., Mrs. Joe Rickman, Offutt,
Mrs. Gladys Hammond, Williamsport, Mrs. Lena Ward, Dayton, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 10 at the
Offutt School House.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Offutt.
