TAKEN BY DEATH

William Daniel, 42, died at 9:30 p.m., Friday 23, at his
home in Lowmansville, after an illness of four years.

He was born in Lowmansville on May 8, 1908, the son of Fary
and Isabelle Daniel. His occupation was that of miner and he
was a member of the United Mine Workers. He was married in
Louisa, Ky., in 1925, to Mae Fraley, who survives him.

Surviving daughters and sons are Mrs. Delores Belmy, Dayton,
Ohio; Judith Ann, Aurdey, Peggy and Brenda Daniel, all of
Lowmansville: Billie Eugene, Johnnie and Garry,
Lowmansville. Also surviving are three sisters and one
brother, Mrs. Jim Van Hoose, Nippa; Mrs. Minnie Fraley,
Pearch Creek, W. Va.; Mrs. Jessie Woods, Lowmansville, and
James A. Daniel, London, Ohio.

Funeral services were held by Revs. Scott Castle and Beecher
Music at the home on Monday, February 26, at 11:00 a.m.
Burial was in the Daniel Cemetery at Sycamore, under the
direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
