LAFE DANIEL, 36, DIES DECEMBER 13
Services Saturday for White House Man
Lafe M. (Spike) Daniel, 36, died in a local hospital at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday, December 13, following an illness of 8 months.
He was born in Johnson County April 17, 1916, the son of Cort
Daniel and the late Ora Walters Daniel. A well-known resident of
White House, he was employed as a miner before his illness and was
a member of U.M.W.of A.
He was also a member of the United Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mabel Pack Daniel, and two
children, Janet Sue and Donald Edward, both at home.
Survivng also are two brothers, John W. and Cort Daniel, Jr. and
one sister, Joyce Ann Daniel, all of River.
Funeral services were conducted from the home at White House
Saturday at 10:00 a.m., by Elder C. J. Sparks. Songs were
presented by the Toms Creek Quartet.
Burial was in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
