RAYMOND DALE
1910-1974
    
Reverend Raymond Dale, 63 of Tutor Key passed away in
an Ashland hospital last Sunday June 9 1974, after
suffering from an extended illness.
  
Born on July 16 1910, Reverend Dale was the son of the
late Dan Dale and Mrs. Grace Daniel Dale,
who survives. 
   
He was a retired miner and a minister for over 34 years.
He was affiliated with the Thealka
Freewill Baptist Church.
  
Also surviving are his wife, Catherine Castle Dale;
three sons, Charles of Columbus, Ohio, Fred,
of Marysville, Ohio, and Raymond Jr., of Chandlersville;
three daughters, Ellen Jean Stambaugh of Hillard, Ohio,
and Gwen Shoemaker of Columbus and 13 grandchildren.
  
Funeral Services for Reverend Dale were held at 2:00 p.m.
today, June 12 in the Thealka Freewill Baptist
Church with Reverends F.M. Gambill, Norman Roberts and
Irvin Castle officiating.
   
Burial was in the Staffordsville Church Cemetery at
Staffordsvile with arrangements under the direction of
the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
