ALI COLLINS

Funeral services were held Friday, January 28, for Ali Joe Collins,
74, who died Monday, January 24 at Highlands Regional Medical Center.
   
Mr. Collins was born August 14, 1922 in Johnson County, the son of
the late Perry and Callie Spriggs Collins.
  
He was a retired miner (Local5898).
 
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Collins; four sons, Ali Collins, Jr.
of Dallas, TX, Vernon Collins of Vermillion, OH, Darrell Collins of
Sheffield Lake, OH and Harold Collins of Paintsville; seven
daughters, Darlene Reynolds and Eloise Conley, both of Paintsville,
Evalene Caudill of Daniels Creek, Sharon Collins and Carol Rowe, both
of Sheffield Lake, Marlene Williamson of Memphis, TN, and Lavonne
Albert of Seven Hills, OH: and 26 grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
  
Officiating at services at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel was
Thomas Reese.
  
Burial was in Collins Family Cemetery at Daniels Creek.
