HESTER CASTLE
1896-1979
  
Hester Castle, 82, died Sunday, February 4, in Paintsville Hospital
after an extended illness.
  
Mrs. Castle was born in Johnson County, August 15, 1896, daughter of
Julius and Florence Witten Burchett. She was a resident of Nippa and
a member of the Boons Camp Church of Christ. Her husband, Walter
Castle, preceded her in death.
   
Surviving are three sons, Quentin Castle, Paintsville; Walter Castle,
Jr. Stambaugh, and James W. Castle, River; a daughter, Opal Rice of
Oil Springs; a brother, Eddie Burchett, Oil Springs; 8 grandsons and
two great granddaughters.
  
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 7, in Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. J. H. Short officiating.
  
Burial was in Roy Meadows Cemetery, Nippa, with Preston Funeral Home
handling arrangements.
