EDITH CASTLE

Mrs. Edith Castle, 35, died in a local hospital at 10:30 a. m.,
Sunday, April 23, after a four months illness. Death was attributed
to cancer.

A resident of Tutor Key, she was born in this county, the daughter of
Sam B. and Neva Harmon Castle. She was affiliated with the United
Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Fonnie Castle, and seven children;
Billie Albert, Verlin Cecil, Alfred, Ernest James, Sarah Virginia,
and Neva Mae all at home. She is also survived by the following
brothers and sisters; Ernest Castle, U. S. Army, Curtis Castle, City,
Sam B. Castle, Jr., Thelka, Mrs. Ruth Allene Campbell, Prestonsburg,
Mrs. Norma Jean Haney, City, and Mrs. Della Mae Estep, Thelka.

Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a. m., Tuesday, April 25, at
the United Baptist Church at Concord by Revs. Cullie Sparks and
Florida Lyons.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Concord under the direction of
the Paintsville Funeral Home.
