Paintsville resident Clarence Ray Castle, 71, died Saturday,
December 4, 1999, at his residence.

Mr. Castle was born August 20, 1928, in Johnson County, to the
late William and Mima Stambaugh Castle.

He was a retired security guard from Paintsville Lake and a member
of Liberty Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Doris Castle; one son, Hobart Ray Castle
of Sitka; two daughters, Marcia Castle of Sitka and Sharon Brown
of Richmond; four brothers, Willard, James H., Bobby and William
Jr., all of Tutor Key; and six grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 7, at Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Larry O'Bryan and Larry Joe Bayes officiating.

Burial was in Bayes Family Cemetery at Hager Hill.
