Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Butcher
Mrs. Mildred Butcher, 47, Williamsport, Ky. died Saturday at 11:30 p.m. at a local hospital following an operation.
Born July 12, 1905, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Daniels, she had resided all her life at Williamsport. She was a member of the United Baptist Church.
She was married February 22, 1924, to Angus Butcher, who survives.
Other survivors are six sons; Granville (Bo) Butcher, Williamsport, Marsh Butcher, U.S. Army, Angus Butcher, Jr., Joe Butcher, Clifford Butcher, and Donna Butcher, all at home. One daughter, Bonnie Butcher, at home, one sister, Mrs. Jesse Blanton, Thealka, Ky., one half-sister, Mrs. Boyd Polly, Hellier, Ky., and three half-brothers, Herman Perry, Auxier, Ky., Everett Perry, Detroit, Michigan, and James Perry, Jr., Dayton, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 22 at the United Baptist Church at Williamsport with the Revs. U.S. Walters, F.F. Rigsby and W. Meek officiating.
Burial was in the Butcher Cemetery under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
