ESTA BROWN
1905-1962
Mrs. Esta Brown, 57, resident of Columbus, OH, died in a hospital in
Columbus at 8:57 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, after an extended
illness.
The daughter of the late George Craig and Tishia Daniel Castle, she
was born in this county April 19, 1905, and had lived in Columbus for
the past 20 years. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Brown, and a son,
Donald Lee Pack.
Survivors include a son, Clarence Pack, Portsmouth, OH; three
daughters, Mrs. Liddie M. Smith, Portsmouth, OH, Mrs. Floe Young,
Columbus, OH; Mrs. Lyndia Blitzo, Arkansas; a sister, Mrs. Willie
Ramey, East Point; two half sisters, Mrs. Lillie Fitch and Mrs.
Arlene Lemaster, both of Thealka; a brother, Bert Castle, South
Charleston, OH; a half brother, Douglas Castle, Paris, KY; a step
brother, Lloyd Hale, David.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Thealka
Freewill Baptist Church with Claude Preston and Don Fraley as
officiating ministers.
Burial was in the Daniel Cemetery at Nippa.
