RANEY B. BLEVINS
1923 - 2002

JOHNSON COUNTY — Raney B. Blevins, 78, of Indian Harbour Beach,
Fla., died Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Born Nov. 25, 1923, in Relief, a son of Sanford and Rena Gambill
Blevins, he was a retired clerk with the U.S. Post Office, a
retired command sergeant major with the U. S. Army, a member of
DAV, AUSA, and a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Hill Blevins of Indian Harbour
Beach; a brother, Ishmel Blevins of Fairborn, Ohio; and a sister,
Dorothy Cottle of Beavercreek, Ohio.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Chapel, Paintsville, with Johnny Estepp officiating.

Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville,
under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
