BETTY BLEVINS
1929-1986
Betty Turner Blevins, 57, died Tuesday, December 9, 1986 in
Highlands Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Blevins was born August 25, 1929, in Cabel County, WV, the
daughter of Elmer and Goldie Mayo Turner.
She was a resident of Staffordsville and a member of the Church of
God.
Surviving are her husband, Boone Blevins, who she married August
15, 1955, in Grayson; a son, Glen Blevins, of Staffordsville; two
daughters, Teresa Cantrell, of East Point, and Diane Blevins, of
Staffordsville; and a brother, Earl Turner, of West Virginia.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 11, in Big Mud Lick
Church of God with Woodrow Frisby and Toby Wheeler officiating.
Burial was in Ealey Branch Cemetery at Staffordsville, with Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were David Blevins, Paul Blevins, J. R. Frisby, Don
Howard, Eugene Lemaster, Harold Litteral, Jerry Pelphrey and Dean
Tackett.
