Volga Resident  Dies Tuesday
Services Thursday For Addie Blanton
      
Funeral services well be held Thursday at one o’clock at the home
at Volga, KY; for Mrs. Addie Blanton, 70, who died Thursday morning
April 22, 1955 in  a local hospital following an illness of three
weeks.
  
The daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Ann Cantrell Prichard.
She was born march 31, 1885 in Johnson County.
  
Survivors include the husband, George Blanton, three sons, Charley,
Sanford and George Blanton, Jr.  all of Volga, one daughter, Mrs.
Jessie Pelphrey, Volga, Two Sisters, Mrs. John K. Cantrell, Flat
Gap, and Mrs. Monroe Wheeler , Paintsville.
  
Burial will be in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
