MAJOR BLAIR

Major Blair, 73, of Magoffin County, died Friday, Nov.15 1996
at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, 
Floyd Co Ky.
  
He was born April 4 1923 in Johnson County, the son of Samuel
and Mary Alice Estep Blair.
  
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and his
first wife, Lorene Lemaster Blair.
  
He is survived by one step-son, Andrew Fletcher of Daniels, West
Virginia; one daughter, Donna Spence of Hager Hill, one step-
-daughter Faye Whitaker of Royalton; two brothers, Chalmer
Blair of Staffordsville, and Frank Blair of Sitka; one
sister Mrs. flu a Wheeler of Staffordsville; three
grandchildren, four step-grandchildren,
and two great-grandchildren.
  
Services were November 18 at Freewill Baptist Church with Rev.
John Michael Blanton, Dick VanHoose,
and Larry Blair officiating.
   
Burial was in Staffordsville Church Cemetery, in
Staffordsville, Johnson Co Ky.
