Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Jack R.
Blair, 57, who died Monday, Mar.4 1996 at his 
Ashland residence
  
Mr. Blair was born May 3,1933, at Bowman, the son of Louise
Blair and the late Sekom Blair. He was retired 
from the U.S. Navy.
   
Surviving are his mother; three sons, Steve and Jerry Blair,both
of Clinton, Connecticut, and Tim Blair of Tampa, Florida; two
daughters, Stephanie Tower of Hanover,Connecticut and 
Cheryl McCaslin of Westbrook, Maine and three brothers,
Jerry Blair of Flatwoods, Jim Blair of Lexington and 
Bill Blair of Covington.
    
Graveside services were held Saturday, March 9, at Staffordsville
Freewill Baptist Church, Cemetery,with Mike Blanton officiating.
