HAZEL BLAIR

Mrs. Hazel Blair, 65, died Saturday, August 23, at Paintsville
Hospital after an extended illness.

She was the daughter of the late Wilson and Rachel Arms Crace and
was born September 25, 1909 in Johnson County.

She was a resident of Barnetts Creek and was affiliated with the
Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, John Wayne Blair, Barnetts Creek, a
stepson, Ken Ward Blair, Lathrop, Nevada, four daughters, Mildred
Caudill, Oil Springs, Freada Colvin, Sitka, Charolett Conley and
Yvonne Crace, both of Barnetts Creek, three stepdaughters, Theda
Harrison, Barnetts Creek, Betty Williams, Johnson City, Tenn., and
Burletha Price, Lathrop, Nevada. Two sisters, Daisy Sluss, Wooster,
Ohio and Dixie Griffith, Oil Springs, and 21 grandchildren also
survive.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 26, at the Pigeon
Freewill Baptist Church with James K. Caudill and Bruce Daniels
officiating.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Barnetts Creek with
arrangements under direction of Jones- Preston Funeral Home.
