DIXIE BLAIR
1934-1999
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, April 7,
for Dixie Ratliff Blair , 64, who died Sunday, April 4, 1999 at UK
Medical Center, Lexington, Ky.
Mrs. Blair was born September 5, 1934, in Johnson County, to
the late Topsy and Leona Fairchild Ratliff.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Blair,
on January 27, 1993.
Surviving are two sons, Danny and Roy Douglas Blair,
both of Denver; two brothers, Ova Ratliff of Urbana, Ohio,
and Jay Ratliff of Peaka, Indiana; four half brothers,
Hollie Ratliff of Red Bush, Topsy Ratliff of Paintsville,
Lawrence Ratliff of Tutor Key and Andy Ratliff of Blaine;
three sisters, Ella Ratliff of Leander, Dicie Ratliff of Denver
and Hattie Thatcher of Urbana; three half sisters,
Ollie Southern and Martha Kidd, both of Denver, and
Mary Pennington of Van Lear; and one grandchild
and one step-grandchild.
Officiating at 1 p.m. services at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel will be Gene May, Rutherford Blair and Jerry Colvin.
Burial will be in Topsy Ratliff Cemetery at Denver.
