JAMES BAYES

James I. Bayes, 51 died Thursday, April 3 1980, in Paintsville.

Born September 28 1928, in Johnson County, he was the son of
Arch Bayes and Ilean Fairchild Bayes, and was a resident
of Hager Hill.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are his wife,
Christine McKenzie Bayes; two sons, Michael Dean Bayes,
Lexington, and James Archer Bayes, Hager Hill; two daughters,
Tammy Murray, Lexington, and Shella Bayes, Hager Hill, 
a brother, Larry Joe Bayes, Hager Hill, and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 6, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Ford officiating.

Burial was in Bayes Cemetery, Hager Hill, with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
