Cynthia Bayes, 77, of Staffordsville, died Sunday Jan 21 2001 
in Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville.
  
Mrs. Bayes was born Feb. 21, 1923, in Johnson County, a
daughter of the late John Henry and Pearlie Holbrook Fyffe.
  
Her husband, Tollie Bayes, died in 1983.
  
Surviving are two daughters, Edith Fairchild and Judy Music,
both of Staffordsville; four grandchildren;
and a great-grandchild.
  
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in Paintsville by Dick Vanhoose.
   
Burial will be in Staffordsville Church Cemetery.
