W.L. BARKER
W. L. Barker. 90, lifelong resident of Kenwood Ky., died at his home Sunday following an illness of several months.
The son of John and Kathern Lemaster Barker, he was born February 15, 1863.
He was preceded in death by his wife nine years ago.
Surviving are three sons, John Barker, Mine Fork, Frank Barker, Oil Springs; four daughters, Mrs. Isadore Tackett, Allen, Mrs. Clara Green, Chandlerville, Mrs. Lexie Rowe, Mima, Mrs. Mary Estep, Oil Springs.
Other survivors include one brother, Lonza Barker, Stambaugh, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Jackson, Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the home at Kenwood with Lonza Reed and Claude Preston as officiating ministsers.
Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
