RAYMOND BALDWIN
Raymond Baldwin, 69, of Swamp Branch, died Wednesday,
April 29, 1998, at Kings Daughters Memorial Hospital
in Ashland.
He was born February 3, 1929, in Johnson County, the son
of Ray Baldwin and Dicie Hitchcock Baldwin. He was a
retired miner and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother; his wife, Lovella Blair
Baldwin, who he married April 7, 1956; one son,
Steven Baldwin of Swamp Branch; three daughters Teresa
Conley, Pam Lemaster and Vanessa Baldwin, all Swamp
Branch; two brother, James Baldwin of Leander and
Mitchell Baldwin of Urbana, Ohio; four sisters, Okie
Caudill of Leander, Mary Louise Blair and Thelma Daniels,
both of Denver; and Jewell Spradlin of Manassas,
Virginia; and five grandchildren.
Services were May 2, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Sammie Reed, David Baldwin, Mitchell Spradlin
and Philip Caudill officiating.
Burial was in the Lakeview Cemetery in Staffordsville.
