GLADYS BAKER
1941-1998
    
Gladys Baker, 58, of Thelma died March 3, 1998, at Paul B.
Hall Regional Medical Center.
  
She was born September 21 1941, in Johnson County, the daughter
of Curtis Sturgill and Mary Mae Stanley. She was an
environmental supervisor.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother
James Sturgill of Hager Hill.
  
She is survived by one daughterter, Connie Pelfrey Staffordsville;
one son, Billy Baker of Thelma; one grandchild Brandon Campbell;
and two sisters, Margaret "Tobe" Woods of London, Ohio; and
Ruby Castle of Thealka.
  
Services were March 6, Eastside Freewill Baptist Church with
Rev. Harry N. Frisby and Rev. Roger Thornsbury officiating and
Paintsville Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.
  
Burial was in the Staffordsville Church Cemetery.
