MAE AUXIER
1914-2008
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 6, 1 p.m. at the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Mae Auxier, 94, of East Point, Ky.,
who passed way Friday, Oct. 3 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in
Prestonsburg, Ky.
Mrs. Auxier was born May 26, 1914 in Johnson County, Ky., daughter of
the late Troy and Stella Adams Conley. She was also preceded in death
by her husband, Frank Auxier; two brothers, Herb and Clyde Conley;
and one sister, Nell Blair. She was a nursing home cook.
Surviving are two sons, Paul Auxier of Prestonsburg, Ky., and David
Keith Auxier of East Point, Ky.; and two daughters, Oralee McKenzie
of Paintsville, Ky., and Carol Ann Branham of East Point; and nine
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Richard Williams, Larry Blair, Dean
Tackett and Ronnie Spriggs, with burial in the Auxier Family Cemetery
on Little Lick Fork at East Point.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
