JESSE ARMS

Jesse Arms, 80, Denver, succumbed to an illness of six
weeks with pneumonia Sunday, December 17, 1950, at the
home of his son, Morris Arms in Asa.

The son of Wallace and Mary Cantrell Arms, he had been a
resident of Johnson County all his life.

His wife, Cynthia Blair Arms, preceded him in death in
1946.

Surviving sons and daughters are: Oliver, Urbana, Ohio;
Oscar, Denver, and Morris Arms, Asa; Mrs. Alma McCarty,
Denver; Mrs. Rouie Spradlin, Denver; Mrs. Mary Spradlin,
Denver; Mrs. Martha Arms, Riceville.

Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Rachel Blair,
Whitaker, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, at 11:00 a. m., Dec.
19, at the Denver Liberty Baptist Church, with the Revs.
Scott Castle and Adrin Davis officiating.

Burial followed in the family cemetery, Denver, under the
direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
