GUY E. WHITED Sr. 1902-1960 Guy E. Whited Sr., C & O Railway Conducter, died at 12:20 a.m. Friday, November 11 1960 at his home on Pine Street in Bridgeford. He had been in ill health for the past ten years.
The son of the late Mary Frances Fuller Whited, he was born in Gate City, Va., November 02 1902, and had lived in Paintsville for the past thirty seven years.
He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Malta Ratliff Whited, whom he married March 10 1923.
Survivors include three sons, Guy Edgar Whited, Jr., U.S. Navy; Earl L. Whited Burlington, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Billie Ripnre and Mrs.Georgia Epperson; one brother, John W. Whited, Panama City, Florida;
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, from the First Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev.Hugh Smith and Rev. O.M. Simmerman, Prestonsburg, officiating.
