WOMAN DIES
Mrs. Virgie Hensley Wheeler, 62, wife of Lawrence
Wheeler of Oil Springs, died in a local hospital May 26,
1957, following an illness of several years.
Three children preceded her in death.
Surviving besides her husband are the following
children; Mrs. S.M. Baldwin, Galloway, Oh; Mrs. Buell
Adams, Falcon, Mrs. Margaret Leach, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs.
Lindsay Tackett, Jr., Oil Springs, Elmer Wheeler at
home, Chalmer, Columbus, Ohio, and Paul, West Jefferson,
OH.
Also surviving are eighteen grandchildren, one sister,
Mrs. Walter Williams, Portsmouth, and a host of
relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., May 26, at the
Litteral Fork United Baptist Church at Wheelersburg,
with F.F. Riggsby, Thurman Caudill and Beecher Hunley as
officiating ministers.
Burial was in the Price Cemetery at Oil Springs.
