ALKA WARD

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 21, for Alka Dale Ward, 76.
  
Mrs. Ward was born August 7, 1913 in Johnson County, the daughter of
Blaine and Missouri Dale.
  
Surviving are one son, Mantord Spradlin, of Paintsville, two
daughters, Lena Palla and Bertha Mae Jones, both of Paintsville, three
sisters, Bell Ramey, of Staffordsville, Addie Blevins, of Paintsville,
and Oakie Salyers, of Oil Springs; and 12 grandchildren, 15 great-
grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild.
  
Officiating ar services in Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel was Jerry
Castle.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery at Paintsville.
