ROY FRANKLIN VANHOOSE
1937-1970
Thirty-three-year-old Roy Franklin VanHoose died suddenly in Fairborn,
Ohio, on November 14.
The native Johnson Countian was the son of Manuel VanHoose and the
late Ora Bland VanHoose.
Services were held today (Wednesday) in the Jones-Preston Funeral
Home, with burial afterward in the family cemetery at Paintsville. The
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Spradlin VanHoose, who lived with him
in Fairborn at the time of his death; a step daughter from Fairborn,
Judy Burks; five brothers from Paintsville, Vencil, Lester, Alvin,
Morris and Lee Thomas VanHoose, and four sisters, Opal Montgomery,
Gladys Ward and Marie VanHoose of Paintsville, as well as Anna Harper
from Mansfield, Ohio.
