Charles T. Van Hoose Dies Wednesday After Long Illness Charles T. Van
Hoose, 26, died at 1:00 p.m., July 1, in a Lexington hospital
following a six-year illness of tuberculosis.
He was born in this city June 6, 1933, and is survived by his mother,
Ethel Spradlin Blevins, and stepfather, John Blevins.
Also surviving is a brother, Lumel Van Hoose of this city. Funeral
services were conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m., from the Pentecostal
Church at Blackberry with John Marshall as officiating minister.
Burial was in the family cemetery on Turkey Knob.
