WILLARD TACKETT

Willard Tackett, age 38, died Tuesday, p.m., March 29, at Miami
Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio after a brief illness.
  
Born October 27, 1927, in Johnson County, he was the son of Mose
and the late Lina Hitchcock Tackett.
  
He had been a resident of Dayton for several years.  He served in
the United States Air Force for three years, spending most of the
time in Germany.  His present occupation had been a contruction
worker.
  
Surviving brothers and sisters include: Willie, Cookville,
Tennessee; David Lee, Oil Springs; Mrs. Earl Salyers, Beattyville;
and Joan Tackett, Oil Springs.
  
The funeral was held Friday, April 1, 10:00 a.m. at the
Staffordsville United Baptist Church with Lonza and Arnold Reed
officiating.
  
Burial under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home, took
place at the family cemetery in Manila.
