Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Nola Esco
Stambaugh, 93.
  
Mrs. Stambaugh was born February 4, 1898 in Johnson County, the
daughter of Enoch and Lydia Salyers Greene. She was a member of
the George's Creek United Baptist Church.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Stambaugh, in
1966.
  
Surviving are one son, Elva Stambaugh of Cincinnati, Ohio; four
brothers, Johnny and Elmer Greene, both of Stambaugh, William
Greene of Plain City, Ohio and Roman Greene of Racine. Wisconsin;
five sisters, Mima Gambill of Ashland, Luda Davis of Paintsville,
Alice Branham of Sitka and Frona Spencer and Laura Daniels, both
of Louisa; and three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 3, in Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Doug Grim officiating.
  
Burial was in Samuel Stambaugh Family Cemetery at Stambaugh.
