JAMES J. SPRADLIN
1904-1965
  
James J. Spradlin, 60, died June 25, 1965 in the New Hospital, as a
result of heart trouble.
  
Born August 23, 1904, he was a son of James T. and Kate Spradlin and
had been a resident of Paintsville 30 years.
  
He is survived by his wife, Wonnie Spradlin, three sons, James T.,
Frank and Manford Spradlin, City; two  daughters, Lena Vanhoose and
Bertha Mae Stapleton, City. Other survivors include seven
grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., June 25, 1965 in the
home of Missouri Dale, Paintsville, with the Rev. Scott Castle
officiating.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery in Paintsville under the direction
of the Preston Funeral Home.
