Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Zora
Ann Sparks, 96, who died Saturday, January 6, at Mountain Manor
Nursing Home.
  
Mrs. Sparks was born June 5, 1904, to the late George and Mary
Ramey Green.
  
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tolvie Sparks, in
1983.
  
Surviving are four sons, Kenneth and Sammie Sparks, both of River,
Homer Sparks of Grove City, Ohio, and Ray Sparks of Columbus,
Ohio; three daughters, Ella Mae Scarberry, Alice Scarberry and
Ivory Daniels, all of River; and 21 grandchildren, 30 great-
grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with Gail Music and Jimmy McKenzie officiating.
  
Burial followed in McKenzie Family Cemetery at Lowmansville.
