FORMER COUNTIAN EARL SPARKS, 21
DIED FEBRUARY 11

Earl Thomas Sparks, 21, died Sunday, February 11, in Spears
Hospital at Dayton, Ohio after an illness of one day.

Born May 26, 1946 in Johnson County, he was the son of Ira and
Malissa Ellen Green Sparks.

He was employed by Fishel Construction Co., in the Cincinnati
area.

He had lived at Dayton, Ohio for the past year.

Survivers including his parents, are his wife, Loretta Gray Sparks
and two daughters, Tammie Sue and Lesa Marie, both at home.
Additional survivors include twelve brothers and sister, Leslie
sparks of Columbus, OH, Dewey Sparks, Obetz, OH, Ralph and Levi
Sparks of Mason, OH, Gladys Rice and Dorothy Jones of Chicago, IL,
Hazel Rice of Union, OH, Carl Sparks of Coldsprings, Georgene
Boggs of Burlington, Ollie Francis Shelton of Sheltonville, Bill
Sparks and Ethel Ruth Sparks of Lowmansville.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 15, 10:30 a.m. in
the Georges Creek United Baptist Church with O. I. Williams,
Florida Lyons and Charlie hackney officiating.

Burial followed in the McKenzie Cemetery at Lowmansville under the
direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
