MAYMIE SHREVE

Mrs. Maymie M. Shreve, 54, died at 9:15 p.m. December 22 1961, at her
home at Winchester, following an illness of eight months.
  
A native of Johnson County, she was born February 3 1907, the daughter of
the late James and Rose Castle Burchett. A former resident of Paintsville
and Pikeville, she has resided in Winchester for the past six months. She
was a member of the United Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are her husband, Robert Shreve, whom she married in 1939. Also
surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Curtis Jones,
Sitka; Mrs. Virginia Hall, Columbus, Ohio; Ray, Eral, and Ora Burchett,
all of Elna; Daryl Burchett, Win; Lowell Burchett, Pikeville; Mrs. Edna
Wallen, Winchester; Mrs. Cecil Hayes, Columbus, Ohio.
  
Fuenral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 2, from the
chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with Cecil Hayes officiating.
  
Music was by the First Baptist Church Quartet with Mrs. Coke William as
organist. Burial was in the Family Cemetery.
