BONNIE JEAN SEXTON 1954-2006 FLORIDA Bonnie Jean Blanton Sexton, 52, of Jacksonville, Fla. formerly of Johnson County, died Monday, Feb. 20, at Hadlow Hospice Center, Jacksonville. Born May 5, 1954, at Paintsville, she was a daughter of the late John and Leona Cantrell Blanton. She attended Flat Gap Elementary School and graduated from Johnson Central High School. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Mervin Blanton, and Ora Blanton. Survivors include her husband, Dan Sexton of Jacksonville; two daughters, Twylla Carol Brown of Shelby, Ala., and Alyssa Lynn Hawkins of Opelika, Ala.; three brothers, Leondis Blanton, Lonza Blanton, and Elza Blanton, all of Flat Gap; five sisters, Della Barker of Jackson, Ohio, Ersla Barker and Carol Adams, both of Flat Gap, Emma Adams of Oil Springs, and Anith Harris of Staffordsville; and two grandsons. Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 23, at Paintsville Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Salyers and Elder Eulas Adams. Burial was in Patty Flats Cemetery under direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
