HOBART SAYLOR
1897-1968
    
Hobart Saylor age 70, of Oil Springs died Thursday May
2,  1968 in the University of Kentucky Medical Center
Lexington, following an illness of three weeks.
  
A native of Johnson Co, Mr Saylor was born on June 1
1897.
  
He was the son of the late Z. R. Saylor and Minerva
J. (Blair) Saylor.
  
He was a retired employee at the Bed Rock Petroleum Co
and a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
  
Surviving his wife Mrs Maudie Howard Saylor, a son Wayne
Saylor, of New Lexington Ohio; and a daughter, Mrs.
Chrystal Johnson, of New Lexington; a step daughter Mrs.
Beatrice Trent, of port Clinton Ohio;  two brothers Dock
Saylor, of Leander, and Gorlie Saylor, of Oil Springs, and
a sister Mrs. Doshia Connely, of Fort Worth Texas.
  
Funeral Services were held Saturday at 1pm at the Oil
Springs Methodist Church by the Rev. Melvin Blanton and
Charles Stapleton, burial will be in the Price Cemetery.
  
The body was at the Paintsville Funeral Home where
friends and family may call.
