VENCIL SALYER
1922-1986

   
Vencil Salyer, 64, died January 14 1986 in U.K. Medical Center.
  
Mr. Salyer was born September 16 1922, in Johnson County, the
son of Patton and Mary Frances Salyer.
  
He was a resident of Blaine and a member of the United Baptist Church.
   

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Parker Salyer,; two sons,

Billy Joe Parker, of Lakeland, Florida; and
Michael Shanon Salyer of Blaine; four daughters, 
Garnet Hitchcock of Paintsville; Bobbie Jo Lowe,
Rosemary Salyers and Carlotta Salyers, all of Blaine;
two sisters, Juliette Green of Lowmansville and Louetta Blevins
of Staffordsville; five grandchildren
and four great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Friday January 17, in Jones-Preston
Home Chapel with Jerry Castle officiating.
   
Burial was in Sparks Cemetery at Flat Gap.
