Trimble Ray Salyer, 87, of Flatgap, died Friday Nov.03
2000 in Mount Manor Nursing Home at Paintsville.
  
Mr. Salyer was born Nov. 25, 1912, at Flatgap, a son of
the late Wallace and Tersie Estep Salyer.
  
His wife, Eula Salyer, also preceded him in death.
  
He was a retired custodian at Flatgap School, and a
member of Flatgap Independent Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are two sons, Hobert Salyer of Flatgap, and
Cobert Salyer of Hilliard, Ohio; two sisters, Ethel Rose
of Flatgap, and Irene Beaver of Hilliard, Ohio; seven
grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several
great-great-grandchildren.
  
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Paintsville
Funeral Home by the Revs. Johnny Estep, Jeff Blanton, and
Gary Blanton.
  
Burial will be in Sparks Cemetery at Flatgap.
  
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today and after 9 a.m.
