Elva Rice, 35 Is Taken By Death
  
Oil Springs Man Died Wednesday, 11 days After His Father Died
  
Elva Rice, 35, died at his home at Oil Springs, June 22, just eleven
days after his father, Farmer Rice, 59 passed away on June 11 at his
Oil Springs home.
  
Mr. Rice was a fine citizen and was loved by all who knew him.
  
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Dixie Rice, a son, Elva Jr.;
daughter, Ruth Rice; two brothers, Paris Rice, Falcon; James Rice,
Wheelersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Dord Spradlin, Starrett, W. Va.;
Juanita Rice, Oil Springs and his mother, Mrs. Louella Rice, Oil
Springs.
  
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Guy W. Preston.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery at Oil Springs.
